Most of us know many good things can come from sitting down with the whole family at the end of the day, yet family dinners are increasingly tough to pull off. Whether it’s the challenge of organizing a home meal, too overwhelming to figure out what to cook, too impossible to coordinate schedules, or too frustrating trying to feed picky eaters – there’s STILL great value in making it happen.
On September 16th we’re launching the What’s For Dinner? Challenge, a 40- day adventure encouraging families to gather around the dinner table- to eat, laugh, play, talk, connect and ultimately to discover the beauty of the unhurried life.
Mark your calendar for Monday, September 16th as the first opportunity to complete one of 20 dinner table experiences over the next 40 days. On October 26th the Challenge will end. Booklets can be turned in Sunday, October 27th but must be turned in by October 30th at Awana.
Along the way, there will be chances to earn cool prizes, with a grand prize going to one lucky family whose name will be drawn from all 20-dinner ‘completers’.
Register HERE to be part of the Challenge! Booklets are $5 and will be available to be picked up on Sunday, September 15th at the Connection Center.
