Sermon Series: Why Not? Sermon Title: Why Not Make Christian Community a Priority and Passion?
Delivered On: September 2, 2018
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. ([bible]Ecclesiastes 4:12[/bible])
Thank God for the people He has placed in your life who always make you feel welcome and invited into the church community. Pray for God to make you that kind of person to others who are new to Shoreline and need to feel embraced in the body of Christ. Ask God to help you take one new step toward a deeper connection to the community of God’s church, His people.
Linger Longer: This next Sunday, hang around in the worship center, lobby, courtyard, or parking lot for an extra few minutes. Look around. Identify someone you don’t know and say hello. Or, find someone you know but have not connected with for some time and reach out to them.

What reasons do people you know use to explain why they don’t dive deeper into Christian community?
How are these reasons understandable, but still not helpful for followers of Jesus?
