Reflecting on the Most Recent Sermon
Sermon Series: You'll Get Though This Sermon Title: Is God Good When Life Isn't
Delivered On: October 4, 2014
“But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.” ([bible]Genesis 45:7[/bible])
Thank God for being on the throne and in charge of the universe…always! Pray for eyes to see how God is actively at work bringing good out of broken and evil actions in this world.
Time to Remember: Take some time in the coming week to think through two different times in your life when things seemed so broken, discouraging, or hopeless that you did not know if you would make it through. Then, reflect on how God showed up, delivered, carried you through, and even brought good out of what seemed utterly hopeless and evil.
Small Group Discussion
During this series we will be using the small group questions provided in the “You’ll Get Through This” study guide written by Max Lucado and Kevin and Sherry Harney. These can be purchased at a discount in the Shoreline Café. This guide will provide all the discussion materials for this six-week series. If you can’t afford a copy of this and need one, please contact Jillian at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can loan you a copy for the six-weeks of this series.
