Reflecting on the Most Recent Sermon
Sermon Series: Victory Sermon Title: Victory Over Sin and Self
Delivered On: March 13, 2016
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. ([bible]Romans 8:1-2[/bible])
Pray through [bible]Psalm 139[/bible]. Focus on verses 23-24. Ask God to reveal areas of sin in your life and for guidance to move in a new direction. Pray for humility, strength, and perseverance to overcome the sin He has made known to you.
After asking God to reveal areas of sin in your life, take specific action in response to His guidance. Begin by confessing your sin to God. Allow God to lead you in this process through ongoing prayer, time in the Bible and by sharing your struggles with godly people.
