Pastor Emeritus
Tom Green is the Outreach Influence Pastor at Shoreline Church. He has experience in church planting, has led high school ministry, and was the Shoreline Young Adult Pastor. Since coming to Shoreline Church in 1997, he has served as Missions Chairman, Small Group Coordinator, and prior to becoming a pastor, was a founding and long time member of the Shoreline Leadership Team.
Tom infuses the vision of reaching outside of the church walls by using the Organic Outreach strategy to ensure that God’s heart for reaching the lost is part of everything we do as a church.
As the lead trainer for Organic Outreach International, he is involved in training the Organic Outreach strategy to churches all over the world.
He and his wife Jill have been married for 45 years and have sought to bring the love of Jesus to many parts of the world. With extensive ministry in India, they have started an orphanage in the city of Agra, and Tom has traveled to many different parts of the country on 15 occasions. They have also done ministry in parts of Europe, Africa, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Canada, the Republic of Georgia, and the Ukraine.
Their two children, Robby and Rebekah, are both married and have joined them in missions. Tom and Jill very much enjoy time with their kids and their six grandchildren. The family enjoys mountain biking, motocross, and just being together.
