John 14: 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Stress, anxiety, depression, obsessive behavior, and a host of other mental health challenges impact many of us. Whether or not these struggles are being treated professionally, being part of a Christ-centered support group that understands and provides encouragement is invaluable.
Shoreline’s Mental Health Support group makes use of proven resources provided by the Grace Alliance initiative in a 16-week session. Gatherings are structured around principles and activities designed to promote understanding, peace, and health. They also provide opportunities for mutually supportive friendships.
The group meets weekly on Thursday evenings, 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Meetings are held at the Shoreline Lay Counseling offices, Abrego St, Monterey.
