It is that time of the year again when we get to serve our Lord by serving our community! Shoreline has the privilege of sponsoring several projects on Saturday, October 26th, so check them out and sign up for one that God is putting on your heart.
Shoreline sponsored projects:
Boys & Girls Club of Salinas – The Clubhouse serves 350 youth daily and the parking lot is a hub for buses and parking. We will be painting the road curbs around the Clubhouse as well as touching up some of the parking lot lines & symbols. This project will ensure the curbs, lanes and parking spaces are clear and well designated. We recommend volunteers wear clothes suitable to paint in.
Card Making For Veterans Of Our Military – Are you creative or just want to “Thank” our veterans? Join us for some fun as we make “Thank you” cards for those that have served in the military!
City of Monterey Hoffman Avenue & Archer Street Park Maintenance & Tree Planting – The parks need some sprucing up! This will involve some weed pulling, raking, pruning, and planting. We will also do tree planting with the city Forester.
Cypress Ridge and Windsor Monterey Care Centers – Join us as we go room to room with a “good cup of coffee”, conversation and prayer!
Dress a Girl – We dream of a world in which every girl has at least one new dress. We want girls to know that they are worthy of respect and that they are loved by God. Come join us in helping make dresses that are distributed all over the world through mission trips, and share in the joy of creating beautiful works of art.
Garden Road/Court Beautification – Help beautify God’s creation by picking up trash on Garden Road/Court.
Gateway Center – Join us as we play Bingo, other games, and music with the residents. Let’s shine God’s love on them!
Robert Down Elementary School – Brighten up the Primary playground with new paint or if you have a green thumb, you can help us beautify the garden! We recommend volunteers wear clothes suitable to paint in.
Sally Griffin Senior Center – The center provides nutritious, home-delivered meals (Meals on Wheels) to residents who are unable to shop or cook for themselves. Help us clean the kitchen and make it shine with the love of Jesus!
We are praying that you will be out there in our community, on the “Love Our Central Coast” serve day!
