Memorize and Reflect

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. (Romans 12:6)

Prayer Direction

Ask God to help you discover your gift or gifts for ministry. Commit to develop and use your gifts for His glory. Pray for a humble heart as you serve Jesus and use the gifts He has given you.

“Live It!” Challenge

Spiritual Gift Investigation - Once you have taken the spiritual gifts assessment, commit to contact Shoreline’s Connections Director and find a time to meet with a church leader and discuss some of the ways your gifts might be used to glorify God, strengthen the church, and impact the world with the love of Jesus.

Small Group Discussion

  1. What are reasons it is hard for some Christians to say, “I have gifts and God is glorified as I use them”? What are some of the things that can keep us from fully embracing and using the gifts God has given us?

  2. What spiritual gift (or gifts) do you have? How have you used the gifts God has given you for His glory?

  3. What are new ways you believe God wants you to use the gifts He has given you, and how can your group members encourage you and pray for you as you seek to be faithful in following God’s call to serve Him with your gifts?

  4. Read: Ephesians 4:11 and Romans 12:6-8 Tell about a person in your life who has embraced their spiritual gift and humbly used it in great ways for Jesus. How has God worked in and through this person and how does their example inspire you?

    · Pastoring
    · Service
