Memorize and Reflect

"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5)

Prayer Direction

Sometimes in our darkest days, powerful feelings within scream out that we’re all alone. These feelings, while natural in times of great loss, hardship, suffering and confusion, are not telling the truth. God says he will never leave you! Choose to ask God to make his presence known to you. And, hard as it may be, “give thanks in all circumstances….” as an act of faith. He hears you and loves you!

“Live It!” Challenge

As you walk through this difficult time, please don’t walk alone. Reach out to brothers and sisters in the Family of Christ and ask them to pray for you, support you and encourage you. God ministers to his children through his children!

Small Group Discussion

During this series we will be using the small group questions provided in the You’ll Get Through This study guide written by Max Lucado and Kevin and Sherry Harney. These can be purchased at a discount in the Shoreline Café. This guide will provide all the discussion materials for the next six weeks. If you can’t afford a copy of this and need one, please contact Jillian at growthgroups@shorelinechurch.org and we can loan you a copy for the six weeks of this series.
