“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:6-9 )
Pray for God to help you notice and care for those who are mourning, experiencing injustice, in need of mercy or peace.
Taking Action Based upon your prayers to have eyes and a heart for those who are mourning, experiencing injustice, in need of mercy or peace, identify one way you will pursue justice, show mercy or promote peace. Then through the power of the Holy Spirit, take direct and specific action.
