MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and has a single mission: to help moms be the best moms they can be. We do this through supporting, encouraging, connecting, mentoring and equipping moms for the awesome adventure called motherhood.
Shoreline MOPS Meetings:
Our MOPS group is led by a leadership team of your fellow moms and every detail is planned with you in mind, from the meeting topics to the children’s activities to the very food we serve. We desire to nourish your mind, spirit and life.
We meet in the Pacific Room (Rm 1108) at Shoreline Community Church, Monterey, from 9:30-11:30AM the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, September 13, 2016 through May 9, 2017.
MOPPETS, childcare available during MOPS meetings, is available for ages three months through 5 years old. Drop-off begins at 9:15 a.m. Lap babies are welcome to stay with their mothers during meeting times. The cost for childcare is covered in your semester registration fee and is supported by our spring fundraiser. Moms are required to be on-call for one hour of one meeting per semester to help in childcare, if needed.
MOPS (Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers) is a great place to find lasting friendships, helpful resources, and support for you as a woman and a mother. Shoreline MOPS is a place for all moms! Adoptive moms, single moms, military moms, and local moms – we are all moms who need enrichment, a hot meal, and time to be around other women! Join us for a delicious breakfast, advice from seasoned moms and speakers, and fun crafts. Shoreline MOPS offers fellowship during meetings, social events for moms only outside of regular meeting times, playdates, and community outreach opportunities (such as packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child).
We register each semester. The Fall semester registration will open Friday, August 11th 2017.
Registration for mothers who require childcare will close when we have reached maximum capacity for our MOPPETS program.
Once registration has closed, we will open a wait list. Moms who do not require childcare may join our group. Moving off the waitlist into membership status is not guaranteed and is completely dependent on making space for all the children for which you require childcare.
We encourage you to visit our Facebook page for up-to-date information regarding the upcoming semester. Please email Stephanie Dorsey, the Shoreline MOPS co-coordinator, at email@example.com with any questions.
