I-HELP for Women – Do you have a heart for helping women in transition? Shoreline Church partners with the I-HELP ministry that provides shelter, food, and clothing for women in our community. Help provide dinner, serve and offer words of encouragement on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 5:15-6:30p at St. John’s Chapel in Monterey. For more information, please contact John Kurzava at communityoutreach@shoreline.church
Women’s Shelter Visits – On the 1st Sunday and the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7-8:30p, we encourage and empower women in transition. Join us as we minister to these wonderful ladies and share Christ’s love in a simple way. We give presentations on relevant life skills, have discussions, and just share in a time of fellowship and fun. For more information, email womenssheltervisits@shoreline.church
Men’s Clothes Closet – Help give men the opportunity to improve their wardrobe by volunteering at the closet. You will be organizing clothes/shoes and keeping track of the people you serve. Most importantly, you will be praying with them and sharing the word of Jesus. The Clothes Closet is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-2:30p. To serve at the closet, email mensclothescloset@shoreline.church
Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. (James 2:15-17)
