Double Dog Dare-A-Thon

Ok, you might be thinking we’re crazy with this one, and you might be right, but I dare you – no – I Double Dog Dare you to keep reading and see what this event is all about!
The Middle School Double Dog Dare-A-Thon is an opportunity for students to take initiative and invite their friends from school, sports, or performing arts to get a taste of and be a part of their church community.
Here’s how it works: Students gather their friends to form a team and plan a house party with that team for Saturday, May 5th (nothing crazy, just a sleepover with a few of their friends) then register that team by filling out this FORM. On Saturday, May 5th from 7-9p, Double Dog Dares will be generated and sent via email to the email address designated in the form. Students will reply to the emails with photos of them completing the various dares (1 dare, every 10 minutes, for 2 hours). Once each new dare is sent, the previous dare is over, and the team must move on to the next one. After a night full of Double Dog Dares, all teams will come to an award ceremony held the very next morning (Sunday, May 6th at 10a) in the Youth Room at Shoreline Church. The photos and videos from the night before will be viewed and awards will be given for their hard work completing dares the night before.
Team entry deadline is Wednesday, May 2nd.
We want this event to be all inclusive so if you’re new to this area or are having a difficult time forming a team, email danny@shoreline.church and we will put your student on a team!
